Delete Your Account

You can delete your LuNAC account at any time. Deletion uses a 30-day grace period so you can change your mind before your data is permanently removed.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the LuNAC app and go to the More tab.
  2. Scroll to the Account section (you must be signed in).
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the warning, then tap Continue.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Confirm Delete.

If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing hello@lunac.app from the email address associated with your account.

What Happens Next

  • Your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your account is suspended and you cannot use app features that require an account (sync, cloud data access).
  • You can cancel the deletion at any time during the 30 days by signing back in to the app and tapping Cancel Deletion. Your account and all data will be fully restored.
  • After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

What Data Is Deleted

When the 30-day grace period ends, the following data is permanently deleted:

  • Your account profile (email, display name, authentication credentials)
  • All cloud-synced observations
  • All cloud-synced calendar events
  • Your synced app settings and preferences
  • All active sessions and tokens
  • Subscription entitlement records

What Data May Be Retained

  • Security and audit logs may be retained for up to 12 months after deletion for fraud prevention, abuse detection, incident response, and legal compliance.
  • Billing and subscription records may be retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution obligations.

These retained records do not include your personal content (observations, events, or settings).

Subscriptions

Deleting your LuNAC account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being charged, cancel your subscription separately through your device's subscription settings before deleting your account.

Local Data

Data stored locally on your device (observations, events, preferences stored in AsyncStorage) is not affected by account deletion. To remove local data, uninstall LuNAC from your device.
