Questions about the printed almanac? Get in touchA few things to know
Getting to know your almanac.
Why are there thirteen Moon Months?
The 2027 edition brings together thirteen complete, consecutive lunar cycles. Each Moon Month begins at an astronomical New Moon and continues to the next, keeping the full cycle together on its own spread.
Are the Moon Months all the same length?
Their lengths follow the actual lunar cycles. The lunar days are numbered within each month, with Gregorian dates alongside them for everyday reference.
Can I use it outside Central Time?
Yes. The printed event times use Central Time, so you’ll need to convert those times to your local time zone. Events near midnight may also fall on a different local date.
Is this the same calendar as the LuNAC app?
The printed almanac follows the same New Moon to New Moon structure and brings the calendar, celestial Timeline, and observations together on paper. Your handwritten notes stay on the page; they don’t sync with the app.
